Europe-wide forum for the synthetic turf industry, offering a wide range of impartial research, statistics and advice and a commitment to promoting and ensuring quality sports turf and standardisation.

• Why do we work with them?

As the only dedicated maintenance provider amongst the prestigious members of the European Synthetic Turf Organisation (ESTO), Technical Surfaces is proud to be at the forefront of innovative developments and affiliations within the industry. Having worked hard to secure our reputation in the UK, our next challenge is to develop and establish our role in the European market.

The ESTO Code of Conduct & Ethics states that member companies must be dedicated to “Ensuring the follow-up and support needed for the optimum exploitation of the [synthetic turf] system installed, contributing to setting up the appropriate maintenance practice and applying the warranties given with the installation”. This required commitment to maintenance presents Technical Surfaces with a unique opportunity to build on our relationships with key suppliers both in the UK and overseas.

On the European and world stage, the launch of Football Turf by FIFA and the maintenance responsibilities involved in ensuring continued FIFA RECOMMENDED 1* or 2* status has propelled artificial pitch maintenance to the forefront of people’s considerations when deciding to invest in a synthetic surface. The endorsement of routine maintenance on artificial pitches by football’s world governing body affords real credibility to what we do, and to our continued aims for synthetic sports surfaces both in the UK and across Europe.
