Changes in climatic conditions have seen an increase in the number of synthetic sports pitches affected by the growth of moss and algae.

Clients should be particularly vigilant in areas of their artificial surface which receive little sunlight due to overhanging trees, kickboards or the overall location of the astroturf pitch.

Although regular maintenance can help to reduce this build up, it is still essential that affected areas are chemically treated to remove existing material and reduce the spread of the spores.
