Tarmac courts

Servicing tarmac courts

Regular maintenance keeps tarmac courts safe, even, and performing reliably for multi-sport use

Cleaning, moss and algae removal, surface inspection, and periodic coating preserve traction, appearance, and drainage, ensuring courts remain durable, playable, low-risk, and visually appealing for schools, clubs, and community facilities.

Maintenance and Care

Although tarmac surfaces are relatively low-maintenance, regular cleaning and inspection

These are important to prevent moss, algae, and dirt build-up, which can make the surface slippery and affect drainage. Periodic water-based cleaning i.e. Hydrotech / Power Washing, Chemical / Moss treatments, Binder Coating, Colour Coating and Line Marking help keep the court performing well, safe, aesthetically appealing to users, and ready for play. Colour coating is often required to restore traction and to refresh the appearance of the courts, whilst extending the life of the surface.

The system supports a wide range of sports and recreational activities, with the option for coloured coatings and line markings to suit specific uses.

With routine cleaning, moss and algae control, and occasional resurfacing, tarmac courts offer a long-lasting, safe, and cost-effective solution for schools, clubs, and community facilities.
