4th Generation / 4G or non-filled surfaces are the next step in synthetic pitch technology.
Designed to offer a similar performance to 3G pitches, they eliminate the need for a performance infill. Instead, they rely on advanced fibre structures and innovative base systems to deliver consistent performance.
Maintenance and Care
Maintenance requirements vary by manufacturer however it is widely accepted that drag brushing and specialist maintenance including Power Sweeping is required to help to manage the pile condition and to help to reduce the build up of contamination within the carpet pile.
Specialist maintenance is designed to routinely remove fine debris, broken down carpet pile and contamination before this consolidates at the base of the pile.
