Technical Surfaces is proud to announce the UK launch of the new TurfBoy TB1 Eco DC, a high-performance electric ride-on maintenance machine designed specifically for artificial turf surfaces.

Developed to deliver efficient, consistent, and environmentally conscious maintenance, the TurfBoy TB1 Eco DC enables schools, universities, sports clubs, local authorities, and leisure facilities to undertake regular daily and weekly drag brushing routines alongside Technical Surfaces’ professional maintenance MatchFit®  packages.

Powered by a 56V electric motor delivering 12.5 kW, the TurfBoy TB1 Eco DC combines impressive performance with quiet, zero-emission operation. With significantly reduced noise levels compared to traditional petrol-powered equipment, the machine is ideally suited for use in noise-sensitive environments such as education campuses and residential areas.

Designed for efficiency and ease of use, the machine offers:

• Forward speeds of up to 9.6 km/h
• Reverse speeds up to 4.8 km/h
• Automatic transmission for smooth operation
• Up to 3 hours battery runtime depending on application and battery configuration

The machine is supplied with four 10-amp batteries as standard, with the option to add two additional batteries for extended operating time.

The TurfBoy TB1 Eco DC has been engineered to support the long-term performance and playability of artificial turf systems through effective decompaction and brushing.

Adjustable Steel Tine Rake
An 1,100 mm adjustable steel tine rake works to loosen and decompact infill material, helping to maintain consistent surface characteristics and player performance.

Floating Triangular Brush System
The 2,000 mm floating triangular brush system gently lifts and realigns synthetic fibres, enhancing both appearance and playability.

Compact and Manoeuvrable Design
With a tight turning radius of just 150 cm, the TurfBoy TB1 Eco DC is highly manoeuvrable and suitable for a wide range of facilities, including smaller training areas and compact surfaces.

Integrated Hitch System
