World Cup Competition Winner Announced!

//World Cup Competition Winner Announced!

Nicki practices with Jabulani outside Colchester Leisure World!

Thanks to everyone who entered our competition!

Congratulations to Nicki Lush, the lucky winner of our World Cup Competition!

Nicki is now the proud owner of an adidas Jabulani World Cup 2010 Match Ball, whose design pays tribute to the host nation of South Africa and incorporates new technology developed at Loughborough University to provide the ultimate footballing experience!

‘Jabulani’ means ‘to celebrate’ in isiZulu, and is the 11th edition of adidas’ FIFA World Cup balls, which in the past have included Teamgeist (Germany 2006), Questra (USA, 1994) and Telstar (Mexico, 1970). Jabulani comprises 8 panels, moulded to create a perfectly round match ball, and has been designed using 11 different colours, one to represent each team player, every official language of South Africa and each of the 11 communities within the host nation.

We would like thank all those who took the time to enter our competition – be sure to look out for our regular e-letters, coming soon!

If you would like to sign up to receive our latest news and seasonal offers on equipment and services, click here and follow the on-screen instructions on the left of the screen.

Here’s to a fantastic summer of football – enjoy the World Cup!
