The NVQ in Sport & Play Surfaces, developed by a number of organisation including the Sports & Play Construction Association (SAPCA), SkillsActive, EdExcel and South Birmingham College, introduces standardisation to the working practices and competence of site-based operatives in the sports surface industry.

So far, ten of our Maintenance Technicians have successfully completed the course, and have gained a recognised qualification endorsed by sports governing bodies and industry experts.

Technical Surfaces is proud to be associated with this venture, and we are pleased that such regulation has now been introduced by external bodies to govern the way pitch maintenance, amongst other procedures, is carried out.

Nick Harris, UK Sales Manager, Technical Surfaces

As the first dedicated synthetic pitch maintenance company to sign up to the NVQ, Technical Surfaces remains at the forefront of specialist and innovative working practices in the industry, giving our customers added peace of mind that their artificial sports surface is in the very best of hands.
